Calor Ireland are the leading supplier and distributor of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Ireland, allowing customers who are located off the natural gas grid use LPG gas for power in their homes and businesses. The company is expert in LPG procurement and commissioning, bulk gas storage, cylinder filling and storage, LPG transport and delivery, installation and maintenance. Following an internal review, Calor Ireland identified a requirement to replace the legacy ePOD system. As a leading-edge technology developer, Touchstar already had many years of investment in offering Android-based mobile computing solutions as the natural successor to the Windows-based systems. In total, the current DCC workforce comprises approximately 215 dedicated employees who, with strong local and international relations, supply private consumers, businesses and the public sector with a wide range of energy products. DCC Energi are also behind the Shell filling stations in Denmark and at the same time supply a large number of Danish airports with fuel. Carnegie began its relationship with TouchStar in 2017 when they were looking for an improvement to their paper ticketing system. Carnegie Fuels adopted software from Fuelsoft as their back-end administration package and utilised Touchstar’s Fuelstar app and Windows-based Hawk devices to provide a real-time data feed from the vehicle fleet. TouchStar has now been commissioned to upgrade the entire Carnegie fleet from the Windows operating system to Android. Read More >>

From our main depot in Carnforth and other satellite depots, WCF Fuels North West operate a number of tankers that supply a range of fuels to domestic, agricultural and commercial businesses. DCC Energi were established back in 2009 through acquisition of Shell’s oil distribution business. The business comprised sales of more than 200 million litres of heating oil and transport fuels to domestic and small commercial and industrial customers throughout Denmark. Since the establishment the business has expanded organically into natural gas, lubricants and marine gas oil. The Touchstar fuel distribution system for DCC Energi in Denmark is fundamental in maintaining their high levels of customer service and to ensure highly flexible and cost-effective operation.
